Are stella adler acting classes worth taking?

I liven on long island and want to taking acting classes for film in nyc. i only want to take a class that meets once a week and the only one i can find so far is at the stella adler school. If you have ever been there let me know how your experience was and if it was worthwhile. Also if you have been to or know of another school that offers something similar and is recommendable id like to hear about that as well.
