Should i ring dr for my 3yr old?

My 1 and 3 year old have had a cold for 3 weeks, a lot of coughing and constantly cleaning their nose, etc. It was coupled w/a small fever so I took them to the Dr., especially since their chest sounded "full". The Dr. said it's going around, not to worry, it might last a long time. The Dr. did say to call if there is any vomiting, I certainly would not wait, I'd call right away. This doesn't sound like the strain that is going around and it's better safe than sorry. The Dr. might ease your mind over the phone but w/the temp and vomiting definitely call him.
